After the frenetic activity of the past week, the relative calm of the last two days of Baselworld, 2013 gives us time to reflect upon all that has happened. It seems like an age ago when, last Wednesday, the fair opened its doors to the media and the world first saw the new Seiko Pavilion.

Over the past week, our Pavilion has welcomed more visitors than ever before and we have entertained retail partners and media representatives from over 60 countries. Never before has the name Baselworld seemed more appropriate to Seiko!

And the highlight? Of course, the excitement as the doors opened last Thursday was hard to beat, but perhaps the lasting memory for many of the Seiko family was on Thursday evening when our friend and partner, Darya Klishina, swept elegantly down the staircase to join our President, Shinji Hattori, in a toast to success in 2013. A very special moment in a very special year for Seiko. See you next year!
